Announcing the First and Second Groups of Winning Photographers for the USS IDAHO Photo Contest

The first and second rounds of photographs have been selected to be physically installed in either a vinyl wrap or mounted on an acrylic panel aboard the future USS IDAHO SSN 799 to represent Idaho's incredible beauty! Additional images may be selected in the weeks and months to come for physical or digital display.

The USS IDAHO Photo Contest: Idaho, Undersea and Underway, received 2,325 images from 413 photographers. The competition was tough. We appreciate and thank the photographers listed below whose generous contributions will enhance the lives of USS IDAHO SSN 799 crew members on a daily basis.

Winners will receive a Certificate of Appreciation, within a year of the Commissioning, a photo of their work as it is displayed in the USS IDAHO SSN 799, and two tickets to the USS IDAHO Commissioning in 2026, subject to U.S. Navy approval.
