Press Release – USS Idaho SSN 799 Proclamation and Veteran Ceremony

Join us for a Special Ceremony.

On Monday, November 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., the Blaine County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a special ceremony for a reading of the Blaine County USS Idaho SSN 799 Week proclamation in honor of a new U.S. Navy Virginia-Class nuclear-powered fast attack submarine named the USS Idaho, SSN 799.

The proclamation will be followed by a cake-cutting ceremony for the United States Marine Corps' 250th birthday, and unveiling of the BCSO USS Idaho SSN 799 patrol vehicle, the “Gem of the Fleet”! The ceremony will be held at the Blaine County Public Safety Facility located at 1650 Aviation Drive in Hailey, Idaho.
