Cmdr. Nicholas Meyers, the first commanding officer of the crew of the future USS Idaho (SSN 799), turned command over to Cmdr. Randall Leslie in a traditional change of command ceremony held Friday, Dec. 2, at Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton, Connecticut.
